The Sanskriti School of Dance

The Sanskriti School of Dance is dedicated to promoting excellence in Bharata Natyam while preserving the ancient tradition of this 2000-year-old art form. Established in 2000, the Sanskriti School of Dance strives hard to inculcate in our children a passion for excellence and a lifelong love for dance, while maintaining the “Guru Shishya Parampara.” Training is imparted in the Thanjavur or style. We aim to provide our children with rich and positive experiences learning about our culture through the medium of dance. We believe in the power of dance as a medium of self expression and personality development. Dance provides the children with physical and mental discipline and structure, attributes that are very useful no matter what they choose to pursue as a career later in life. Sanskriti provides a great environment for children to develop this discipline while connecting to their roots and heritage.
